Arvind Kejriwal is an Indian politician who is currently the Chief Minister of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal is a prominent figure in the political history of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal has been the Chief Minister of the capital Delhi since 2015. Arvind Kejriwal has been a former bureaucrat. He was born on 16 August 1968. He is the seventh Chief Minister of Delhi. He was also the Chief Minister of the capital Delhi in 2013 but at that time he was the Chief Minister for only 49 days. Arvind Kejriwal contests on behalf of "Aam Aadmi Party". Aam Aadmi Party's journey in Delhi has been good. The people of Delhi have faith in this party. Arvind Kejriwal won the assembly elections in 2015. In this election, the Aam Aadmi Party won 67 out of 70 seats. Kejriwal has done his graduation from IIT Kharakpur. He received his Mechanical Engineering degree from ITI Kharakpur. Before joining politics, Kejriwal was an employee of the central government. Before joining politics, Kejriwal was the Commissioner of Income Tax joining the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) in Delhi. In 2006, Kejriwal has been awarded the Ramon Award. Kejriwal played an important role in the movement called "Parivartan" to promote the right to information against atrocities. While resigning from his government service, he gave the amount of Ramon Magsaysay Award to the Public Cause Research Foundation as a corpus fund. It is a non-government organization (NGO).


Early Life of Arvind Kejriwal :-


Arvind Kejriwal was born in a Hindu family in the state of Haryana. His parents are named Govind Ram Kejriwal and Geeta Devi. Arvind Kejriwal spent most of his childhood in Sonepat, Hisar and Ghaziabad. He received his early schooling in Hisar and Sonepat. After his secondary and high school studies, he took the IIT JEE exam in 1985. In this, he received the rank of All India 563. He joined Tata Steel Company in 1989 after obtaining a graduation degree from IIT Kharakpur. He worked for Tata Steel for 3 years living in Jamshedpur. In 1992, he resigned from his job for the Civil Services Examination. Arvind Kejriwal spent his time in Kolkata. Where they met Mother Teresa. He also met the volunteers of "The Missionaries of Charity" there. At that time there were charity institutions in India like Ramakrishna Mission and Nehru Yuva Kendra. Which are still running Mother Teresa raised poor and fatherless children.



Education of Arvind Kejriwal: -

 Arvindra Kejriwal spent his childhood in Hisar and Sonepat, Haryana. Arvind completed his early schooling in Hisar and Sonepat. He attended Hisar Campus School and later completed his height school at Christian Missionary Holy Child School, Sonepat. After finishing his high school in 1985, he took the IIT-JEE exam. In this, he received the rank of All India 563. He then enrolled in the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Arvind Kejriwal received a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Arvindra Kejriwal's father was also an electrical engineer. Arvindra Kejriwal's father graduated from Birla Institute of Technology Messer. Arvindra Kejriwal started working at Tata Steel after studying graduation. In 1992, he resigned from this job and started studying for the Civil Service Examination. In 1995, Arvindra Kejriwal passed the Civil Services Examination and was elected as Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax in the Indian Revenue Service.

Arvind Kejriwal was born in the Aggarwal Family, a media class in Haryana. Their family is Hindu family. His father's name is Govind Ram Kejriwal. His father had a well-educated man. Kejriwal's mother's name is Geeta Devi. Kejriwal is the eldest of the 3 children of Govind Ram and Geeta Devi. Arvind Kejriwal's father was an electrical engineer. His father had graduated from Birla Institute of Technology, Maser. His wife is Sunita Kejriwal who has two children.

Arvind Kejriwal married Sunita Kejriwal in 1995. Sunita Kejriwal is a 1993 batch IRS officer. Arvind Kejriwal's wife's name is Sunita Kejriwal. Sunita Kejriwal took voluntary retirement from Income Tax Appellate Tribunal in 2016. Arvind Kejriwal and Sunita Kejriwal have two children. He has a daughter and a son. His daughter's name is Harshita and son's name is Pulkit.



 Arvind Kejriwal's age and birthday: -

Arvind Kejriwal was born on 16 August 1968. He was born in Bhiwani district, Sewani, Haryana. Arvind Kejriwal celebrates his birthday on 16 August every year. In the year 2020, Kejriwal will celebrate his 52nd birthday. Arvind Kejriwal has turned 52 in the year 2020.



Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister: -


 Arvind Kejriwal has so far been elected Chief Minister of Delhi three times. For the first time in 2013, he contested the Delhi Assembly elections on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party. In that election, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won 28 of the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly. The Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress Party 31 seats in that election. The Chief Minister of Delhi was Sheila Dixit at that time. Sheila Dixit was from the Congress party. Neither party had an absolute majority in that election. The Aam Aadmi Party formed its government in Delhi by merging INC MLAS, Janta DAL MLAS and Independent MLAS and Arvind Kejriwal became the Chief Minister of Delhi for the first time.

Kejriwal took charge of the Aam Aadmi Party in the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections. In this election, the Aam Aadmi Party won 67 of the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lost only three seats in that election. The INC account did not get a single seat. Kejriwal contested from New Delhi assembly constituency. In this region, he defeated Nurup Sharma by 31,583 votes. Thus Arvind Kejriwal was elected as the Chief Minister of Delhi for the second time. On 14 February 2015, Arvind Kejriwal was sworn in as Chief Minister at Ramlila Maidan.


Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won a spectacular victory in the Delhi Assembly elections in the year 2020. In this election, the Aam Aadmi Party won 62 out of the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly. Arvind Kejriwal contested from Delhi Assembly constituency in this assembly election. Arvind Kejriwal won this election by 21,000 votes. Thus Arvind Kejriwal was elected as the Chief Minister of Delhi for the third time. On 16 February 2020, Arvind was sworn in as Chief Minister at Ramlila Maidan.

When Arvind Kejriwal first became Chief Minister in 2013, he could not bring the Jan Lokpal bill. He blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress for this. He called the BJP and Congress against the FIR lodged against Mukesh Ambani and Reliance Industry. In 2013, Kejriwal was chief minister for only 49 days.
