Yogi is a prominent agitator and hard worker. He played the role of a distinguished campaigner in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

He left his home to participate in the Ram Mandir movement in 1990 and became an agitator. Impressed by Mahant Adityanath, the chief priest of Gorakhnath Math, He did all these things. Later after the death of Mahant Adityanath, it was  Adityanath who took over the post of the chief priest of Gorakhnath Math.

The early life of Yogi Adityanath

He was born on 5 June 1972 in Panchur village in Uttar Pradesh, which is now in the state of Uttarakhand. At the time of his birth, his childhood name was Ajay Mohan Bisht. Adityanath’s father’s name was Anand Singh Bisht.

his father Anand Singh Bisht was a forest ranger. Anand Singh Bisht died on 20 April 2020 at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. Yogi Adityanath could not attend his father’s funeral even due to the Coronavirus. Yogi Adityanath has four brothers and three sisters.

He is the second of his seven sister-brothers. He became fully active in politics after obtaining his Bachelor’s degree. Yogi Adityanath received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Hemavati Nandan Bahugun Garhapal University. From his early life,  Adityanath participated extensively in Hindu programs.

He promoted Hindutva. In 1990 he participated in the Ram Temple movement. Adityanath Mahant considered Adityanath as his spiritual master (father). Since he took his name as Yogi Adityanath.

 He lived in a monk’s costume and became the chief priest of Gorakhnath Math. Yogi played an important role in the Babri Masjid and Ram Temple dispute in Ayodhya for years.

He participated in the Ram temple movement in Ayodhya. After this, He went into politics. He made a successful career in politics. He has been a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly five times in a row. After this, He was elected as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2017. Ram temple was built in Ayodhya only during Adityanath’s chief minister’s tenure. The Prime Minister of India at that time was Narendra Modi.

In 1994,  Adityanath became the Mahant of Gorakhnath Math and continued to do religious work here. He was elected member of the Lower House of Parliament in the Lok Sabha for the first time in 1998.

Yogi started the Hindu Yuva Vahini after He became a Member of Parliament. he is a distinguished campaigner who continues to support Hindutva and the party. Yogi used to be a complication between Adityanath and BJP party leaders for tickets. due to  Adityanath’s successful strategy and beliefs, the argument between the two ended.

He was elected Member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh for five consecutive terms. This achievement in Adityanath’s politics makes him recognized as a popular politician.

He has been a member of the Parliament continuously since 1998, 2007, 2009, and 2014 from Uttar Pradesh. In 2006, Nepal played an important role between the Nepalese Meocists and the Indian Leftist parties to oppose the Mejoim. Adityanath encouraged the Maghesi leaders to oppose the Rejoice.

On 18 March 2017, Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister after the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

He had sworn in as Chief Minister on 19 March 2017.  He was the first to shut down illegal slaughterhouses.
